"Where is Bristol?"
I hear you cry!
Bristol is one hell of a city and we think you frontend folks are going to love it.
Beautiful things happen in Bristol, from the magnificent Victorian engineering of the Clifton suspension bridge and the birth place (and resting place) of Concorde to filming location for shows like Sherlock and Dr Who and controversial graffiti - this is Banksy's hometown after-all.
Wonderful things have been made here, such as Morph and Wallace & Gromit in the Aardman animation studios and the music scene is also pretty impressive, the list of bands from Bristol is almost never ending.
You can fly in to Bristol Airport from several European locations and it's simple enough to get into the city centre. Or you can take the train direct from London Paddington in around 2 hours.
A family affair
Over the last few years we've had a few children turn up to Frontend United and this year we are planning on hosting a Code Club for them to learn some CSS and HTML. Frontend is a great visual starting point for kids and with computer languages becoming compulsory in many countries education system, we thought it was time to help out. We'll keep you updated on this but please get in touch and let us know your thoughts.
Theres plenty to do around Bristol, not only is it surrounded in glorious countryside but there is a zoo and aquarium, @bristol science centre and SS Great Britain sits on the harbour side. So bring the whole family and make a long weekend of it!
Twig army
As you may have heard the new Classy theme is now in Drupal 8 and Drupalcon Los Angeles will be a month away, it could be the launch of Drupal 8... Frontend United will be the best place to get together and hammer out some more changes and polish up those curly brackets before all the hard work is released to the world. We need you in Bristol!

We've got a few speakers up our sleeves, we're just finalising things before we announce them but in the mean time if you have any suggestions of speakers or would like to talk yourself then please do contact Morten at info@frontendunited.org. We also recognise the Copenhagen sessions weren't recorded but if you'd like us to bring someone back for a repeat performance we will try.
